In 1860s Japan, an idealistic young boy joins a group of revolutionaries called Miburo to change his land for the better. Miburo was the name for the Mibu Roshigumi or the Mibu Ronin, relating to a group of masterless samurai who were based in Mibu, southwest Kyoto (now known as Nakagyo-ku).
